Biography

Vasily was born on March 31, 1981 in Kalush.

In 1998 he moved to Kiev . Married, has two children. Now engaged in coaching.

Achievements

  • European Champion 2005, 2007, 2008, silver medalist of 2001, 2002, bronze medalist of 2004, winner of the 2008 Golden Grand Prix.
  • 2000 European Junior Champion, bronze medalist of the 2000 Junior World Championship, bronze medalist of the 1997 World Cadet Championship.
  • At the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Vasily Fedorishin was fourth. At the Summer Olympics in Beijing in 2008, he became second, losing in the final fight to Olympic champion Athens Mavlet Batirov from Russia with a score of 1: 3.

On April 5, 2017, the International Olympic Committee deprived Fedorishin of the 2008 silver medal due to the presence of doping in his samples - turinabol [3] [4] .
