Biography
Vladimir Aleshkov was born in 1956 in Leningrad. In 1974 he graduated from the music school-ten at the Leningrad Conservatory , in 1979 - the Leningrad Conservatory in the class of the Honored Artist of the RSFSR Professor Yu. A. Bolshiyanov. He also studied with the Honored Artist of the RSFSR, the soloist of the ZKR ASO of the Leningrad Philharmonic V.S. Margolin .
In 1980, he became a diploma winner at the All-Union Competition for Brass Instruments in Tallinn. In 1983 and 1984 he was awarded the title of Laureate of the first prizes at the All-Russian competition in Leningrad and the All-Union competition in Alma-Ata. Over the years, he was the soloist of the Mariinsky Theater, ZKR ASO of the Leningrad Philharmonic, the Moscow Academic Symphony Orchestra, the orchestra of the Opera Studio of the Leningrad Conservatory, the St. Petersburg Classical Symphony Orchestra and others.
In 1986 he organized the ensemble “Leningrad Brass” consisting of: V. Aleshkov (trumpet), K. Baryshev (trumpet), A. Antonov (horn), O. Gritsenko (trombone), V. Avvakumov (tuba), who became the laureate of three International competitions - in the USSR, Hungary (two prizes) and France.
In 1995 he took part in the gala concert of Placido Domingo in Turku (Finland).
