Red star line

Red Star Line is an ocean passenger liner line founded in 1871 as a joint venture, one of the participants of which was the International Navigation Company ( USA ), which served the American Line and the Société Anonyme de Navigation Belgo-Américaine in Antwerp ( Belgium ) [1] Clement Acton Griescom , one of the leaders of the International Navigation Company , entered into an agreement with the Belgian government to establish the Red Star Line to organize Antwerp's mail service with Philadelphia and New York . The company was founded by Clement Griscom, who led it from its founding until its inheritance by the International Mercantile Marine Company in 1902 . She got her name from the name of the line - “Red Star Line”.

The company survived the IMM financial crisis in 1915 .

In the 1930s, the Red Star Line was part of the Arnold Bernstein Line . [one]

The company operated until 1934, when it ceased operations due to economic depression.
