The village of Andreevo was previously part of the Zagariye parish. Presumably, the name of the village comes from the personal name of the first settler. By 1794, there were 10 houses in the village, in which 167 people lived (83 men and 84 women). In 1869, there were already 56 houses and 439 inhabitants in the village. In addition to the peasant work, the villagers engaged in various handicrafts. In the village there were several weaving workshops. In the second half of the XIX century, the Zemsky school appeared here. In 1911, the people's library was opened, in which there were 398 books. During the Soviet era, the silk spinning mills in the village were nationalized. In 1957 the building of the former factory of the Demidovs was reequipped as a hospital.
