Located north of Kazan (27 km) on the river Kasymov , 11 km from the border with the Republic of Mari El .
History
From 1930 to 1963, the village was the administrative center of the Dubyaz district , then the center of the village council as part of the Vysokogorsky district.
Population
The population of the village Dubyazy is 1740 people (2010). Tatars predominate by ethnic composition (94%).
