Queensland's Wet Tropics
The 12th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee was held from December 5 to 9, 1988 , in Brasilia , Brazil . 27 applications were submitted for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List: 19 cultural heritage sites, 3 mixed properties and 5 natural heritage sites. Thus, the total number of registrations reached 314 (230 objects of cultural heritage, 14 mixed and 70 natural).
