Biography
In 1593, Serafin Banks was sent by the Duke of Tuscany Ferdinand with an embassy in France . In Lyon, Banks met with Pierre Barrière ( fr. Pierre Barrière ), who dedicated him to his plan of assassination of Henry IV , but the Tuscan ambassador warned the king about this and saved him from death. When the bishopric of Angouleme was offered to the Dominican as a reward, he did not accept it and was pleased with the pension, which he almost completely turned to charity.
The essays remaining after the Bank all relate to the fact mentioned above:
In Rosaire spirituel de la Sacrée Vièrge Marie, Banks refutes the view that he used confession to reveal Barrier’s intentions.
