The source of the river is Lake Borgvalles at a height of 13 m above sea level west of Stralsund . In the upstream, the river flows in a westerly direction, in the upstream - in the north. Bart flows through Fellgast , and then flows into Barter-Bodden Bay in the town of Barth . [3]
The lower reaches of the river - a popular place for recreation and fishing .
