Content
DescriptionMonjita the widow is a bright white bird, with dark eyes, black legs and a short beak. The outer wings have a dark black edging, the tail is short, scalloped.
DistributionMonjita widow is widespread in central and northeastern Argentina, and also inhabits the regions of Kaatinga and Pantanal in Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia and Uruguay. The natural habitat of birds is a subtropical or tropical dry shrub and old forests.
