Biography
After graduating from the Suzdal Art and Restoration School in 1994, he served in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation , then he was engaged in the design, management and manufacture of stone decor. The most famous works are carvings on the altar barrier in the Church of the Intercession on the Nerl ( Bogolyubovo village, 1996 ), a white stone iconostasis and a throne in the Church of St. Roman Kirzhachsky (the city of Kirzhach , 1997 ), carvings on the memorial chapel at the Spasskaya Church ( Vladimir city, 1998 ). The author of a granite monument to the liquidators of radiation disasters in Obninsk ( 2008 ). [2] [4]
The author of the plaque to Konstantin Leontiev in Optina Desert ( 2011 ). [five]
In 2013, he took part in the competition for the creation of a city sculpture by the scientist Cat in Obninsk, but lost to Moscow sculptors Vladimir Saprykin and Alexei Dubin, whose version was embodied in the city the same year [6] .
In May 2014, deputies of the Obninsk City Assembly chose one of three options for the monument to Alexander Naumov , proposed by Sergei Lopukhov, for installation at the beginning of the square, bearing the name of Naumov [7] .
It works both in figurative and in abstract plastic. Uses various materials: stone, wood, metal. [2]
