Gyamysh ( Azeri. Gamış dağı ), Gomshasar ( Armenian ոմշասար ; "Buffalo Mountain") is the highest peak of the Lesser Caucasus , located on the Murovdag ridge in Nagorny Karabakh [2] . The height of the summit is 3724 m. It is composed of igneous rocks .

According to the administrative-territorial division of Azerbaijan , the territory controlled by the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic is located within Goygol , Jebrail , Zangelan , Kelbajar , Kubatly , Lachin , Terter , Khojavend , Khojaly , Shusha and parts of the Agdam and Fizuli regions of the Azerbaijan Republic .
