Career
Roman Berdnikov began his professional career in 2009 as part of the Ontario Hockey League Owen Sound Attack Club [1] , who selected him in the first round under the general 15th number in the draft of the Canadian Hockey League , previously playing for the farm club Omsk native " Vanguard ." Before the start of the next season, Roman returned to Russia and spent 32 games as part of the Omsk Hawks MHL club. However, in January 2011, Berdnikov decided to go to the Owen Sound again [2] , with whom he became the OHL winner, gaining 22 (13 + 9) points in 47 matches held.
The season 2011/12 Roman began again in the MHL, and on September 22 in the match against Cherepovets β Severstal β he made his debut in the KHL , becoming the author of the assists.
International
As part of the Russian team, Roman Berdnikov took part in the 2010 Junior World Championship, in which he, together with the team, took 4th place, gaining 6 (2 + 4) points in 7 matches held.
