Biography
Born on March 29, 1939 in the village of Cheryomushki, Kimov district, Tula region . From an early age addicted to reading, began to compose poetry. After graduating from a seven-year school, he worked on a collective farm, then he studied at the FZO school . Having received the profession of a bricklayer, he worked as a builder in Novomoskovsk, Tula region. He entered the literary institute, at the same time worked as an employee of the newspaper Novomoskovskaya Pravda . He collaborated with the editorial offices of the newspapers Young Communard (Tula) and Novomoskovsky Chemist. He was an editor on television.
While studying at the Literary Institute, he published two collections of poems. In 1980 he was admitted to the USSR Writers Union. He wrote mainly about the characters, way of life and customs of the inhabitants of the surrounding villages of the Kulikovo field , the writer himself was a native of these places. Then he switched to fabulous and fantastic literary forms. The main genre of his works were legends, tales, there were stories for children.
Since the beginning of the 2000s, he began to visit the church in honor of the icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary “Unexpected Joy” in Novomoskovsk, and began teaching young parishioners the art of creating Orthodox verses and stories. Under his leadership, they began to publish the anthology "Parishioner" , then the magazines "Orthodox Novomoskovsk", "Holy Ilyinsky Church", "The Abode". Often wrote articles and notes to the editorial board of Orthodox St. Petersburg magazine. In these years, from the pen of Logunov, cycles of poems about Russian saints, about Holy Russia came out.
He lived and worked in Novomoskovsk , died on October 26. 2009 year.
