His first experience in national policy came in 1957. Chai ran as a candidate for the Democratic Party in the city of Surin, but was not elected. In 1969, he stood in Buriname as an independent candidate and managed to win. Then he was re-elected several times. In 2007, Chai was elected to the National Assembly of Thailand as a representative of the People's Sovereign Party.

In 2009, Chai received the delegation of the Federation for Universal Peace , the organizations of Mun Son Meun , led by José de Venicia in parliament during a working visit, which later met with the Prime Minister. [1] [2] The delegation of the Federation for World Peace included seven deputies from Sri Lanka , Malaysia , Nepal , Pakistan , the governor of the Indian state of Sikkim and the Secretary General of the Cambodian Red Cross unit. He is married to Laong and they have five sons and one daughter. One of Chai’s sons, Naveen Chitchob, is an influential politician in the northeast region. The nomination of Chai’s candidacy by the People’s Sovereign Party to the post of Speaker of the Chamber partially counts Nevin. He is a great admirer of the Israeli politician and military Moshe Dayan , sometimes even calls himself "Moshe's Teas". [four]
