The highest point is 4.3 meters. The dimensions are approximately 50 by 100 meters [1] . Depths off the coast to 7 meters. The average tide is 1 meter. The nearest island is Big Sennuha .
Island Incidents
- On October 1, 2011, near the island, a kelp collector, a 25-year-old resident of Arkhangelsk named Sergey, was caught in a storm. The wooden boat gave a leak, and the guy escaped, having reached the island by swimming. 16 days Sergey lived on the island:
On October 17, he was rescued by EMERCOM officers who were searching for another missing person on the Mi-8 helicopter. The man was taken to the 7th city hospital in Arkhangelsk, a preliminary diagnosis : "severe hypothermia and signs of exhaustion , his condition is assessed as moderate ." [one]All this time I ate algae and drank rainwater. In order to somehow take shelter from the weather, he built a dugout - he put boards on two large boulders, spent the night there. The first time from dawn to dusk watched the sea in the hope of seeing some ship.
