Origin and family
A prince from the clan of princes Sheleshpan , a branch of the princes of Belozersky . Rurikovich in the 19th tribe, the eldest of the four sons of Prince Yuri Konstantinovich Sheleshpansky . [1] He had three sons, Ivan Golov, Vasily Tail and Semyon.
Service
In 1495 he participated in the campaign of Ivan III to Novgorod . In the same year, among other boyar children, he accompanied Elena Ivanovna to Vilnius to the Grand Duchy of Lithuania for marriage with Alexander Jagiellon , in the rank of bedding. The synodic does not report the year of the death of Andrei Yurievich, naming only the number: " Prince Andrei Yurievich Sheleshpalski ceased on October 12 on a day, the martyrs Provatorch and Andronicus are remembered" [2] .
