Career
Alexander Kitarov began his professional career in 2004 as part of his native Novopolotsk club “Chemist-SKA”, speaking before that for his farm club. For the three and a half years spent in “Chemist”, Alexander spent 140 matches on the site, in which he scored 29 (11 + 18) points, after which he was invited to join one of the most powerful clubs in Belarus “ Yunost-Minsk ”. In the metropolitan club, Kitarov achieved major successes in his career, becoming the country's champion three times, adding to this the silver of the Belarusian championships, as well as his victory in the Continental Cup in 2010 . In total, in the “Youth” in the 201 matches held, he scored 104 (49 + 55) points.
June 2, 2011 , Alexander signed a one-year contract with the only Belarusian club in the KHL - Minsk Dynamo [1] . In the 2011/12 season , Kitarov immediately managed to gain a foothold in the main team of the capital's club, marking 7 (3 + 4) scored points in 57 matches, after which the Dynamo leadership decided to sign a new two-way contract with the player for a period of two years [2 ] .
In the 2013-2014 season , scored 15 (5 + 10) points.
On April 30, 2015 , Dynamo Minsk terminated the contract with the striker.
International
As part of the national team of Belarus, Alexander Kitarov took part in two world championships in the first division: junior in 2005 and youth in 2006. At both tournaments, Alexander and his team won a ticket to the elite division. At an adult level, Kitarov played at the world championships in 2011 and 2012 , in which he earned 3 (0 + 3) points in 12 matches.
