Career
A student of Jelgava football, Gints Freimanis began his football career at Viola (later, having teamed up with the RAF , he formed the club Jelgava ). At the beginning of 2005, Gints Freimanis moved to Ventspils , but after spending the whole season in a double, he could not play in the Latvian Premier League .
At the beginning of 2006, Gints Freimanis joined the Dijvanagi , the debutant team of the Premier League, and made its debut in it. True, according to the results of the season, “Dijwanagi” took the last, eighth place in the standings and flew to the First League . After Gints Freimanis returned to his native club "Jelgava", which he played until the summer of 2007, when he was invited to his club " Jurmala ".
Before the 2008 season, Gints Freimanis visited the Skonto club in Riga [2] , but failed to gain a foothold in it [3] . But in the club " Riga " he was able to prove himself [4] , and ultimately joined his ranks [5] . But Gints Freimanis performed only as part of Riga until the summer, and because of financial problems that started at the club, he tried to try his luck abroad.
In the summer of 2008, Gints Freimanis went on a visit to the Irish club “ Cork City ” [6] , which later even agreed to sign a contract with him [7] , but, due to delays in the transfer, the club soon changed his mind. A little later, on September 3, Gints Freimanis joined another Irish club - “ Longford Town ” [8] , but he also failed to officially join it, as the transfer was not arranged on time.
In the end, Gints Freimanis returned to his homeland and finished the 2008 season in the ranks of “Jelgava” [9] . In January 2009, he went to see the Spanish club Real Betis [10] , where he spent a week and a half, but did not sign the contract [11] .
