Kondratiev, Mikhail Yuryevich

1973 - ended up in prison, and then in a juvenile colony for a street fight ^[1] .

1977-1998 - at the Research Institute of General and Pedagogical Psychology of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the USSR (now the Psychological Institute of the Russian Academy of Education ) he went from a laboratory assistant to a chief research fellow.

1983 - defended his thesis "Social-role determination of interpersonal perception in groups of hard-to-educate adolescents and youths."

1993-1994 - Leading Researcher at the Federal Institute of Educational Sociology.

1993-1995 - Scientific Secretary of the Expert Council of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation in the field of "Pedagogy and Psychology".

1994 - defended his doctoral dissertation “Psychology of interpersonal relations of a teenager in closed educational institutions” .

1994-1997 - Head of the Department of Social Psychology at the University of the Russian Academy of Education , teaching at the Russian Presidential Academy of Public Administration .

In 1996, he was elected a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Education in the department of Psychology and Age Physiology.

In 1995-1997 and in 2007-2008 he was a member of the Expert Council of the Higher Attestation Commission in this area.

From 1998 to 2013 - Dean and Professor of the Department of Social Psychology, Moscow City Psychological and Pedagogical University . As the dean of the faculty of social psychology of Moscow State Pedagogical University M. Yu. Kondratyev led the educational process in the specialty, bachelor and master programs, as well as in the preparation of a series of individual master's programs in the direction of “Social Psychology”. He is the chief editor of the international scientific journal “Social Psychology and Society” ^{[2] [3]} , organized publishing projects and conferences on the development of the scientific psychological school of A. V. Petrovsky .

2010 - initiated the creation of the international scientific journal Social Psychology and Society , becoming its editor-in-chief and deputy chairman of the editorial board.

May 5, 2015 - committed suicide at his country house in the Istra district of Moscow region. In a suicide note, he said that he was tired of fighting cancer ^{[4] [5]} .

M. Yu. Kondratiev actively worked on the development of the ideas of the scientific school of A.V. Petrovsky. He developed the concept of the origin, formation and development of relations of authority in a group; developed a special research methodology for determining the circle of authoritative persons, as well as a number of socio-psychological modifications of the technique of “repertory grids” by J. Kelly ; experimentally fixed and described the phenomenon of “descending blindness”, reflecting the specific dependence of the nature of interpersonal perception in groups on the position of subjects of interaction in the intragroup status hierarchy; created a socio-psychological model of group secrecy.

M. Yu. Kondratyev developed the theoretical foundations of social developmental psychology - a branch of social psychology that studies the metasystem "personality - group - wide society", considering it in the process of continuous and interconnected development of all its components ^[6] .

M. Yu. Kondratiev led the organization and holding of regular All-Russian scientific and practical conferences “Social Psychology of Small Groups” ^[7] .

M. Yu. Kondratyev led the publication of annual (since 2001) collections of scientific papers “Socio-psychological problems of education: theory and practice” at the Department of Social Psychology of Moscow State Pedagogical University; publication of materials from the regular All-Russian scientific-practical conference “Social Psychology of Small Groups”, dedicated to the memory of Professor A. V. Petrovsky.

M. Yu. Kondratiev was the chief editor and deputy chairman of the editorial board of the international scientific journal Social Psychology and Society ; Member of the Editorial Board of the journal “Vestnik of Moscow State Regional University” (series “Psychological Science”) ^[8] .

M. Yu. Kondratyev was a professor at the Department of Social Psychology of Development, Faculty of Social Psychology, Moscow State Pedagogical University , the author of a number of training courses in social psychology and the head of a separate master's program "Social Psychology", chairman of the jury scholarship named after A. V. Petrovsky in the field of social psychology for students of the specialty and undergraduates. He also provides scientific guidance to graduate students and doctoral students on the problems of social psychology of small groups.

At the Moscow State Pedagogical University M. Yu. Kondratiev taught the courses “Social Psychology”, “Social Psychology in an Interdisciplinary Context”; special courses "Psychology of relations of interpersonal significance", "Authority of authority and authority authority".

With the direct participation of M. Yu. Kondratyev, a conceptual system of training and professional development of professional social psychologists and social educators was developed and implemented within the framework of the Moscow regional program “Capital Education”. In these programs, implemented at the Department of Social Psychology, Moscow State Pedagogical University , the emphasis is on solving the problems of socio-psychological support for the activities of pedagogical collectives of various types of educational institutions of the capital megalopolis ^[9] .
