Leucht, Christian Leonhard

Christian Leonhard Leucht ( German: Christian Leonhard Leucht ; February 12, 1645 , Arnstadt - November 24, 1716 ) is a German lawyer.

He studied law in Leipzig , Giessen and Jena . He was an adviser to the Nuremberg Magistrate.

Of the works of Leucht, the annual publication (two volumes a year) of the European State Chancellery ( German: Europäische Staats-Cantzley ), the most important German -language periodical on state law, was undertaken by him since 1697 . Leucht edited it until his death under the pseudonym Antonius Faber ( lat. Antonius Faber ), which during his life was never disclosed. This publication continued to be issued, in one form or another, until 1803 .
