  5. ↑ Semyon Kvasha A fabulously small story. “Odd and the Ice Giants” is published in Russian - a children's fairy tale by British writer Neil Gaiman Gazeta.ru , April 12, 2013 Quote: “Translator Dina Krupskaya, poetess, editor of the children's magazine“ Kukumber ”, was generally successful - the result of her work is minimally annoying . She is a very experienced master: she translated both children's writers - for example, Beatrice Potter, and adults - for example, Robert Penn Warren. Absolute poetic transparency of the language of Neil Gaiman, it turned out, however, some kind of quite basic - but no one demands genius from the translator inspired, competing with the author of the original source. Especially when you consider that the book was published in a circulation of 6,000 copies: these days, ascetic or hackworkers are engaged in such stellar literary projects. Krupskaya, judging by the result, is one of the first. ”
