USSR Championship between the teams of the Union republics in chess 1986 - 18th championship.
In July 1986 in Minsk . The program of the 9th Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR . Based on the results of preliminary competitions, 3 final groups were formed among men and women, where places were played according to the round robin system: 1st group (1-6th), 2nd (7-12th) and 3rd (13-16 e); composition of the team: 5 chess players and 3 chess players (not older than 25 years).
