It is part of the Nikolsky rural settlement (until 2015 it was the center of the Boylovsky rural settlement ) [1] [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - the center of the Boylovsky village council.
Located on the banks of a small river, a tributary of Andoga . The distance by road to the district center of Kaduya is 19 km. The nearest settlements are Bolshaya Gorka , Malaya Gorka , Plywood Factory .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 174 people (81 men, 93 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (95%) [3] .
