The Albanian Basketball Championship has been held since 1946 . Currently, there are 6 teams in both League A and League B. The most titled club is the capital 's Partizani , which won the championship 33 times.
Initially, the championship was played according to the spring-autumn system, starting from the 1966/67 season and to this day is played according to the autumn-spring system.
The current champion is the shkodorskaya “ Influence ” [1] .
