History
In October 1910, an agreement was signed with the Franco-German-American consortium on the establishment of the National Bank of the Republic of Haiti. In 1916, the bank began issuing banknotes, in 1935 it was nationalized. On August 17, 1979, the bank was liquidated; the National Credit Bank and the Bank of the Republic of Haiti were created on its basis [1] .
