Geography
The village of Khoroshovo is located in the west of the Moscow region, in the eastern part of the Volokolamsk district, about 14 km southeast of the center of Volokolamsk . The village is surrounded by forests. The nearest settlements are the villages Matryonino and Danilkovo .

History
In the βList of Populated Placesβ of 1862, Khoroshevo is the owner's village of the 2nd camp of the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow province on the right side of the Moscow postal tract (from Volokolamsk), 14 versts from the county town, at the well, with 4 yards and 36 residents (17 men , 19 women) [3] .
According to the data for 1890, it was part of the Anninsky volost of Volokolamsk district, the number of male souls was 10 people [7] .
In 1913 - 7 yards [8] .
According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Population Census - the village of Ivantsevsky village council of Anninsky volost, 27 inhabitants lived (10 men, 17 women), there were 7 peasant farms [4] .
Since 1929 - a settlement within the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow district of the Moscow region. By the decree of the Central Executive Committee and the Council of People's Commissars of July 23, 1930, the okrug as an administrative-territorial unit was liquidated.
1929-1963 - The village of Matryoninsky village council of Volokolamsk district.
1963-1965 - The village of Matryoninsky village council of Volokolamsk enlarged rural area .
