Liepas parish ( Latvian: Liepas pagasts ) is one of the four territorial units of the Priekulsky region of Latvia . Located in the north of the region. It borders on the Marsnenskaya and Priekulsky volosts of its territory, the Kaugursky volost of the Beverinsky krai , the Raunsky volost of the Raunsky krai , the Raiskumsky volost of the Pargauy krai , as well as the Vaidavsky and Kotsensky volosts of the Kotsensky krai .

The largest settlements of the volost are the villages: Liepa (volost center), Dukuli, Liepasmuiza, Obuli, Sarkani, Saulites, Skangali, Stuki.
The regional highway P20 Valmiera - Cesis - Drabesi [2] and, parallel to it, a section of the Riga - Lugazi railway line pass through the Liepa parish.
The rivers flow through the territory of the volost: Braslava, Gauja , Grivinyupite, Rauna.
History
Liepa parish was founded on the lands of the former Linden Manor. In 1925, part of the territory of the former Skangal manor of the Murmuiz volost was added to it.
In 1935, the area of the Liepa parish of Cesis County was 68.9 km², with a population of 1262 inhabitants.
In 1945, the Dundur and Liepa village councils were created in Liepa parish, which were part of the Cēsis county in 1945–1949. After the cancellation of the volost division in 1949, the Liepa village council was part of the Cesis district .
In 1954, the territory of the liquidated Dundur village council was annexed to the Liepa village council [3] .
In 1990, the Liepa village council was reorganized into a parish. In 2009, at the end of the Latvian administrative and territorial reform, the Liepa parish became part of the Priekulsky region.
