Career

Club

He began his career in 1996 as a member of the Sloga team from Kraljevo , and in 1997 he entered the Academy of the Red Star team. In the same year, he joined the “Unity” team from Uba , a year later he moved to the “Big Bull” from Radnichkov, spent the next season in “ Borac ” and then spent two more years in “Buduchnosti” from Banatski Dvor.

He studied at the Red Star Academy in 2002 and was accepted into the first team, played 85 games in the national Super League and scored one goal. He played at number 16, several times brought the team to the field as a captain. Twice he became the champion of the country and the owner of the Cup (he designed the “gold doubles” in 2004 and 2006).

August 30, 2006 signed a contract with the French " Lance " for a period of 4 years [2] . After the departure of the club in Ligue 2, he performed with the team, and left the line-up after the 2010/11 season, when Lance again flew to Ligue 2, taking 19th place. July 1, 2011 officially returned to the "Red Star" and received the number 33 [3] [4] . In January 2012, he signed a contract with the Azerbaijani " Baku " [5] .

In the national team

For the national teams of Serbia and Montenegro and Serbia played a total of 25 matches. Debut took place on March 27, 2003 in a game against Bulgaria in Krusevac . The last game was held on May 28, 2008 against Russia in Burghausen . It is noteworthy that both of these matches the Serbs lost with the same score 1: 2.
