Carcaranha ( Spanish: Río Carcarañá ) is a river in South America . The river originates in the province of Cordoba as a result of the confluence of the Chocancharava and Rio Tercero rivers in Argentina . The total length of the river is about 240 km, its catchment area is 4800 km². It flows eastward. It flows into the Parana River . It has a number of large tributaries.
