Norwegian Epic is an F3 class cruise ship owned by Norwegian Epic Ltd. and operated by the American shipping company Norwegian Cruise Line was built in 2010 at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard of STX Europe in France in Saint-Nazaire and cruises in the Mediterranean in summer, will be operated between the islands of the Caribbean in winter, and then will return to The Mediterranean Sea . History
The keel of the ship under serial number C33 was laid down on June 19, 2008 at the shipyard Chantiers de l'Atlantique of STX Europe in France in Saint-Nazaire . The vessel was launched July 10, 2009. On June 17, 2010 the vessel was transferred to the shipping company. On June 24, the ship left for its first voyage . The baptism ceremony took place on July 2, 2010.
