History
The company was founded in 1923 by Lorenz Wagner ( Lo renz Wa gner - LOWA ), the son of a shoemaker and musician Johann Wagner, in the village of Etzendorf ( Bavaria ) (in 1923 there were only 570 inhabitants [1] ).
In the early 30s of the XX century, a young company was able to build its first factory [2] 15m long and 6m wide. Leather was dressed and welded on the ground floor, and sewing was located in the attic.
In 2010 , the production of ski boots was opened in Javera del Montello (Italy). And the main production of trekking and climbing shoes continues in Etzendorf
