Ector Ikasuriaga ( Spanish: Héctor Icazuriaga , born 1955) is a statesman and politician of Argentina, a member of the Front for Victory party.

Biography
Born in Chivilkoe , graduated from the National University of La Plata , a lawyer by education. In the province of Santa Cruz, he was elected to the Provincial Legislative Assembly from the industrialist party . Ikasuriaga was elected vice-speaker of the Provincial Legislative Assembly, and after electing the vice-governor of the province Sergio Acevedo to the Chamber of Deputies of the National Congress of Argentina in 1999, the governor of the province of Santa Cruz Nestor Kirchner appointed him to the position of vice-governor.
In 2003, after his victory in the presidential election, N. Kirchner appointed Ikasuriagu governor of the province of Santa Cruz, in this position Ikasuriaga was from May 24 to December 10, 2003. On December 10, 2003 Kirchner appointed Ikasuriagu to the position of SIDE director instead of S. Azevedo. E. Ikasuriaga occupies the position of the head of this special service longer than any of his predecessors. After being elected president of Nestor 's wife Christina in 2007, he kept his post and maintained good relations with both spouses [1] .
In December 2014, Hector Ikasuriaga together with her deputy resigned from the post of head of national intelligence [2] .
