Origin and family
The nobleman of the Sverchkov-Saburovs is a descendant in the VII tribe of the Tatar Murza Chet . The eldest of the five sons of Konstantin Fedorovich Sverchka-Saburov , father-in-law Vasily III - is the father of the Grand Duchess of Moscow Solomonia Yuryevna . His four brothers: Boris, Timofey (Zamyatnya) , Daniil, and Ivan also served in the Moscow service, but did not receive particularly high posts at court. He had four sons Ivan, Andrew, Fedor and Athanasius. Of his descendants, the most prominent figure was the grandson - Yakov (Zamyatnya) Ivanovich - governor under Ivan the Terrible
Service
In the years 1494-95, he led the census of the Obonezhskaya Pyatina in Novgorod land .
Since 1501 he was governor in Korel .
In 1505, his daughter Solomon was married to Basil III. Becoming the king’s father-in-law, he occupied a prominent position at court. In February 1506, court cases on land disputes were reported to him. In the same year, during the Russo-Kazan war, he was the governor of a guard regiment in Murom , under the general command of Daniil Vasilyevich Patrikeyev-Scheni , from there he was transferred to Nizhny Novgorod . After a substantial defeat near Kazan, the main forces of the Russian army under the command of his brother Vasily Dmitry Zhilki , left the governor in Nizhny Novgorod. [one]
At the end of 1509, during the campaign of Vasily III to Novgorod and Pskov, he was left in Moscow, probably due to his old age. He died in 1512. [one]
