Narkatka ( moksh. Narchi ) (? - † 1242 ?) - according to legends, Burtassian (according to other sources - Moksha ) queen [1] . In written sources, her name is missing. According to the legends, she is the daughter and heiress of Moksha King Puresh [2] , the sister of Atyas , who, at the head of the army assembled by her, devastates the Mongol rears in the autumn of 1242. The next stage of the confrontation, according to these legends, was the Battle of Zolotarev [3] [4] [5] . Near the village of Narovchat (Penza region) a monument to Naryatka is erected.

Image of Narcotics in the epic
In the epic “Mastorava”, the woman-hero (as Batu's Khan called the Queen Nalchatka) confronts the superior forces of the enemy and prefers death to the captive, trying to cross the river with his battle horse.
Alternative hypotheses
By the assumption of Lebedev V.I. Puncture could be the Burtass queen [6] . According to the senior researcher of the department of history CHGIGN Madurov D.F.
she could only be moksha. First, she was the daughter of Moksha King Puresh; secondly, military actions took place on Moksha land, and thirdly, among other nations a woman could lead the state, but could not be the leader of the army [7] .
The ethnographer of V. A. Aunovsky wrote that coins with the image of Narchits are found in mokshan ornaments [8] .
