It arose as a result of the renaming in 1994 of the joint-stock company formed as a result of the privatization of the St. Petersburg Bread Factory of the Moscow District into the company Khlebny Dom . A certain popularity of the brand was given by the transfer of a significant part of the assortment in 1998 to the sale in a package that contained the output data and the manufacturer's logo , which contributed to branding ^[1] . All the company's bakery products, including those baked at the Murinsky bakery absorbed in 2002 and the Vasileostrovsky bakery acquired a year later, were produced under this trademark.

In 2005, control over the Bread House was completely transferred to Fazer, which gradually increased its stake in the company since 1997. Fazer retained the trademark, and in 2008 transferred to it a significant part of the bread production of the entire Russian division, including baking at the Moscow Zvezdniy combine ^[2] . Since 2013, the entire range of production of Russian factories Fazer is given to three brands: “Fazer”, “Bourget” and “Bread House” ^[3] , the first two are used for products of the upper price segment, and “Bread House” is reserved for products from the middle and lower segments. As of 2016, the following product subbrends under the brand “Hlebny dom” are used: bread “Hercules”, bread “Maryin”, “Berry basket” (flour confection with berry and fruit filling), “Rosy traditions” ( rusks and dryers ) , "Tea classics" ( gingerbread ).
