Creativity
The first speech in literature dates back to 1917 - journalism and essays (“Free School”, L.).
He wrote the first play in 1919 (“Our Days,” the second edition of “Far Away”).
In total, he created more than 20 one-act plays for theatrical amateur performances, the themes of which are mainly the problems of class struggle and socialist construction.
The first published play "Eve" ("Crime of the Warden of Dembowski") staged in the autumn of 1924 on the stage of the theater. MGPSS , reflects the struggle of the Polish proletariat with the bourgeoisie . The play "Zagmuk" (1925) is a treatment of the Assyro - Babylonian legend, according to which, at a certain time of the year, certain classes of society conditionally changed their social status. In one of these “changes”, the slaves, having seized power, raised an uprising against their oppressors. The play was highly appreciated by A. Lunacharsky , A. A. Krain wrote the opera of the same name based on it. The play "Power" is dedicated to the events of the October Revolution , and "Growth" (1927) reflects the difficulties of socialist construction and the fight against " wrecking " in a textile factory. “Inga” (1929) describes the formation of a new Soviet life and the role of women in it. In the social melodrama “RAF I (Gold and the Brain)” (1929) (“Octopus”), science-fiction techniques are used. It describes the struggle of the imperialist powers to master the secret of nuclear energy , while, as in other plays, the author pays special attention to the description of international proletarian solidarity.
He also wrote the play “Scrupulously” (1940), the drama “Truth” (publ. 1959) and other works.
Some of Glebov’s plays have been translated into the languages of national minorities ( Jewish , Turkic , Georgian ) and staged on national stages. He also translated about 30 plays of national playwrights (“Namus” by A. Shirvanzade , “Wedding with a Dowry” by N. M. Dyakonov and others).
From the mid-1950s he wrote prose. He wrote the books “The Line of Friendship. Tales of Turkey ”(1960), written on the impressions of work in Turkey, as well as the stories of“ Pravdoha ”(based on the story in 1973, the film“ Two days of anxiety ” [1] was put),“ Comma ”,“ Gurov ”and others collection "Tales of the Strong" (1964).
Glebov is known to Soviet science-fiction lovers for his science fiction short story “Big Day on the Planet Chungr” (1962), in which the satirical narrative of the ant-like inhabitants of Mars echoes the actual theme of “exposing the personality cult ” and the philosophical short story “Golden Rain” (1963).
