History
The Central Bank of Aruba began operations on January 1, 1986, when Aruba received the status of a state within the Kingdom of the Netherlands . Prior to this, Aruba was part of the Netherlands Antilles and was under the jurisdiction of the Bank of the Netherlands Antilles [1] . The Central Bank of Aruba is a member of the Group of Supervisors of International Financial Centers .
