Jakub Šindel ( Czech Jakub Šindel ; January 24, 1986 , Jihlava , Czechoslovakia ) - former Czech hockey player , center forward . Pupil of Prague " Slavia ". He is currently a hockey referee, starting from the 2019/2020 season he has been working on matches of the Czech Extra League [1] . His father is the famous Czechoslovak goalkeeper Jaromir инindel , uncle Roman was a defender.

Career
Jakub Shindel began his professional career in 2003 as part of Prague 's Sparta, playing before that for his farm club, as well as the second team of his native Slavia . The following year, in the NHL draft, he was selected in round 2 under a general 54 number by the Chicago Blackhawks Club [2] . In the same year, Jakub for the first time in his career climbed the podium of Czech championships, winning bronze awards with Sparta.
In the middle of the 2004/05 season, Schindel decided to go to North America, where he began to play for the Canadian Hockey League draft pick in round 1 under the general 13th number of the Brandon Wheat Kings Western Hockey League club, which included for the remainder of the season he scored 40 (23 + 17) points in 59 matches held. Before the start of the next season, Jakub returned to Sparta, however, having played only 12 matches with future Czech champions, he signed a contract with the Lasselsberger Plzen club.
Schindel played in his new club until 2008 , having scored 78 (50 + 28) points in 152 matches. On December 8, 2008, Jakub entered into an agreement with the Finnish SM-League club Pelicans [3] , but six months later he returned to his homeland, having been leased for one season to the Comet Brno club [4] . Schindel again spent the 2010/11 season at Pelicans, despite the fact that before the start of the season he signed a contract with another Finnish club Tappara [5] and played 6 matches for him in the European trophy .
On September 6, 2011, Jakub entered into an agreement with the Kloten Flyers club of the Swiss National League [6] , however, having only 5 games due to a serious injury to his face , he switched to Dynamo Riga on October 9 [7] . On October 23, in a match against Dynamo Moscow , Shindel scored his first goal in the KHL [8] . Nevertheless, this goal was the last in the league for Jakub, as already on December 18 the leadership of the Latvian club decided to terminate the contract with the player [9] . On the same day, Schindel entered into a trial agreement with the Finnish club “ Kärpiat ” [10] , however, already on January 24, 2012 , after Joseph Stumpel joined the team, Yakub had to leave the club [11] .
On January 31, Shindel signed a contract with another Finnish club - “ Esat ” [12] .
International
As part of the Czech national team, Jakub Schindel took part in the junior world championships of 2003 and 2004, at the last of which he and the team won bronze awards, as well as in the world championships among youth 2004 and 2006 . Jakub was also called up under the banner of the national team to participate in Euro Hockey Tour matches in the 2007/08 season .
