Located on the banks of the river Ozhidaevskaya .
History
Until 1945, it belonged to the Japanese governorate of Karafuto and was called Nakano ( Jap. 中 野 ) . After the transfer of South Sakhalin to the USSR, the village was renamed. The modern name is obviously associated with the peculiarity of the trains following the station of the same name [4] .

According to the 2002 census, the population is 17 people (11 men, 6 women). The predominant nationality is Russians (82%) [2] .
