Geography
Located on the banks of the river Lutogi .
History
Until 1945, it belonged to the Japanese governorate of Karafuto and was called Otoyo ( Jap. 大 豊 ) . After the transfer of South Sakhalin to the USSR, the village received its modern name (the Razdolnoye option was also proposed) [5] .

According to the 2002 census, the population is 454 people (219 men, 235 women). The predominant nationality is Russians (93%). [2]
