Novotroitskoye is a village in the Aniva city district of the Sakhalin Region of Russia [4] . It is located on the banks of the Susuya River , 35 km from the regional center and 7 km from the regional center.

History
Until 1945, it belonged to the Japanese governorate of Karafuto and was called Simonamikawa ( 下 並 川 ) . After the transfer of South Sakhalin to the USSR, the village on October 15, 1947 received its modern name (the Nizhne-Troitskoye variant was also proposed) [5] .

According to the 2002 census, the population is 483 people (242 men, 241 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (88%) [2] .
