Plissa ( Belor. Plіsa ) is a lake near the village of Plisa of the Glubokoe district , Vitebsk region in the basin of the Mnyuta river, 17 km north-east from the town of Glubokoe .

The surface area of the lake is 4.24 km², length 6.2 km, maximum width 1.43 km. The greatest depth is 15 meters, the average one is 2.5 m. The volume of water is 23.6 million m³.
The basin of the lake is of a complex type, stretched from west to east. The slopes of the basin are up to 10 m high, composed of sandy loam and loam . In the southern part of the terrace is 1.2-1.5 m high. The coastline is winding and forms large bays. The length of the coastline is 18.2 km. The banks of Plissa are low, sandy and swampy. The littoral zone is narrow, the deep water is relatively flat. Depths up to 2 m occupy about 20% of the lake area. The bottom to a depth of 6-7 meters is sandy, deeper covered with a layer of sapropel up to 5 meters thick. On the lake there are 7 islands with a total area of about 0.025 km².
Coastal vegetation occupies a narrow intermittent strip. Reed , reed , calamus predominate. Rdesta grow up to a depth of 3 m.
The lake is mesotrophic, flowing. The rivers Shosh and Svilitsa and brooks flow, the river Mnuta flows out.
The lake is inhabited by pike , bream , white bream , roach , carp , ide , rudd , perch , crucian carp and other species of fish.
The shore of the lake is covered mostly by coniferous forests, the bottom of the lake is covered with a large number of springs, thanks to which the lake is one of the cleanest lakes in Belarus .
On the shore there is a children's camp "Emerald", a camp site, the republican sanatorium "Plissa".
