In 560 , Gwallogg became king of Elmet , succeeding his uncle Artois ap Masgwid on the throne. In the 580s, Gwallogg joined the anti-Anglo-Saxon coalition, where there were Urien Regedsky , Rederh Strathclyde , Morkant Gododinsky , the brothers Souil and Dinod of the Pennins and Llivarch of Southreged. Gwallogg participated in the siege of Bourgburg, the capital of Bernice , and the siege of Lindisfarne . Around 590, he attacks Elfin, son of Urien. After the death of Gwallog, the son of Keredig became the king of Elmet.
