Biography

In one of them, he is named the son of Edbert I. Another literacy is certified by Etelbert II , from which it follows that these two kings ruled simultaneously.

In 767, Erdwulf was overthrown by Hetbert , a protégé of Wessex . His son Oswulf fled to Northumbria , where he died in 811.
