Catholic church of St. Jadwiga - a church in the village of Legnickie Pole , Voivodeship Lower Silesia , Poland . The church , dedicated to St. Jadwiga of Silesia , was previously the church of the Benedictine monastery , now abolished; Now it is the parish church of the parish of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and St. Jadwiga.

The construction of the church began in 1719 under the direction of the Czech architect Kilian Ignaz Dintsenhofer . In 1723, Abbot Otmar Zinke laid the first stone of the future monastery. The temple was consecrated on October 7, 1731 . By 1733, the interior decoration was completed, the frescoes of the vault were created by the Bavarian artist Cosma Damian Asama.
The temple is richly decorated with a sculpture placed on the facade and in the interior of the church, on the altar and on the organ ( sculptor Karl Josef Hernle ). The organ was made by local craftsman Adam Horatio Casparini [1] .
On May 1, 2004, by decree of the President of Poland, Alexander Kwasniewski, the Church of St. Jadwiga in Legnica Pole was declared a historical monument of Poland .
