General information
The founder of the Saburov family, Fedor Ivanovich Sabur, had 6 sons, the youngest of whom Konstantin Fedorovich , nicknamed Sverchok, became the ancestor of the Sverchkov-Saburovs. His granddaughter Solomoniya Yurievna was the first wife of Grand Duke Vasily III . Despite their kinship with the princes of Moscow in the 16th century, the Sverchkov-Saburovs did not occupy higher posts at the court, serving as captains , Kravchians , and governors . Only the father of Solomonia, Yuri Konstantinovich, received the rank of deceit .
The branch of the Sverchkov-Saburovs ended its existence in the third quarter of the 17th century. [one]
