The flag of the “municipality - the Pronsky municipal district of the Ryazan region ” of the Russian Federation is the identification mark drawn up and used in accordance with Russian and international vexillological (flag-keeping) rules, is the official symbol of the municipality - the Pronsky municipal district of the Ryazan region, the unity of its territory, population, the rights of local governments, its dignity, historical and administrative significance.

The flag was approved on August 29, 2011 by the decision of the Pronsky district Duma No. 9/43 [1] and entered in the State Heraldry Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 7109.
Description
“A rectangular panel with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, along the flagpole of which there is a yellow strip 1/4 of the flag width with the image at the top of the old green princely hat with a black edge, above which is a yellow ornament (" town ") with white a pearl. The composition of the coat of arms of the Pronsky district is reproduced on the rest of the white panel — a green oak with a dark yellow trunk on a green hill adjacent to the lower edge of the flag, followed by a blue distance in the form of a horizontal strip with a total width (together with the hill) of 1/5 of the flag’s width ".
Justification of Symbols
The flag of the Pronsky district is based on the historical emblem of the city of Pronsk , highly approved on May 29 ( June 9 ), 1779 [2] together with other emblems of the cities of Ryazan governorate : in the upper part of the shield there is the Ryazan coat of arms, “ In the second part of the shield there is a large silver field an old oak tree, signifying abundance in the forests near this city . "
