Leave This Town is the second studio album by American rock band Daughtry , whose frontman is season 5 finalist Chris Daughtry of the American Idol show . The album was released on July 14, 2009 [3] .

Album Information
About 70 tracks were written for the album, but in the end 19 were selected (including bonus tracks) [4] . Chris Daughtry co-authored Richard Marx , Chad Kruger ( Nickelback ), Ryan Tedder ( OneRepublic ), Jason Wade ( Lifehouse ), Adam Gontier ( Three Days Grace ), Eric Dill ( The Click Five ), but not all songs co-written, eventually entered the album.
During the first week after the release, 269,000 copies of the album were sold, and it climbed to the first line of the Billboard 200 hit parade. By the beginning of 2011, 1,225,000 copies were sold [5] .
The first single (May 6, 2009) was the song “ No Surprise ”. The following singles were “ Life After You ” and “ September ”.

Leave This Town was mixed by music critics. According to the Metacritic aggregator , the album received 59 points out of 100 based on reviews of 10 editions. [14]
