Biography

Baptized in infancy in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the village of Krasnoznamenka .

In 1978, he graduated from an incomplete secondary school and continued his studies at the evening school in Odessa at vocational school No. 3. At the same time, he worked as a psalmist in the Holy Protection Church of the village of Dachnoe near Odessa.

From 1984 to 1986 he worked in Rostov-on-Don in the residence of the Metropolitan of Rostov and Novocherkassk Vladimir (Sabodan) .

In 1986 he entered the Leningrad Theological Seminary , which he graduated in 1990 .

On April 26, 1989, he was tonsured a monk by Metropolitan Alexy of Leningrad and Novgorod (Ridiger) .

On September 3, 1989, he was ordained hierodeacon by Metropolitan Alexy of Leningrad and Novgorod.

On May 24, 1990, he was ordained a hieromonk by the Metropolitan of Leningrad and Novgorod Alexy in the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra .

On October 1, 1990, he was confirmed as rector of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ, at the Warsaw Station in St. Petersburg .

Since 2002, he directed the construction of the Holy Trinity Church in the native village of Belka, Ivanovo district, Odessa region.

On October 13, 2004, in the Transfiguration Cathedral of the Alexander Svir Monastery, Metropolitan Vladimir of St. Petersburg and Ladoga (Kotlyarov) was elevated to the rank of Archimandrite for the diligent service of the Russian Orthodox Church, for the revival of the Holy Trinity Alexander Svir Monastery and for the spiritual nourishment of the Intercession of the Holy Trinity Introduced Oyatsky convents.

On January 3, 2006, he was appointed Dean of the Lodeinopolsky District of the St. Petersburg Diocese.

In May 2006 he graduated from the full course of the Kiev Theological Academy .

Being the dean of the Lodeinopolsky deanery district, located in the Lodeinopolsky and Podporozhsky districts of the Leningrad region, he carried out administrative and liturgical activities in 8 parishes, 10 ascribed temples.

By the decision of the Holy Synod of July 13, 2015, he was approved as the holy archimandrite of the Holy Trinity Monastery in the village of Troitskoye, Ivanovo District, Amur Region.

On February 1, 2018, in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill was elevated to the rank of archbishop. [eight]
