Zorin, Alexander Vasilievich

He graduated from high school in 1984 , in the same year he entered the historical and pedagogical faculty of the Kursk State Pedagogical Institute .

After graduating from the institute in 1991 , he first worked as a history teacher in a rural school of Medvensky district, Kursk region .

In 1992 - 1995 he worked as a specialist in the inventory of immovable historical and cultural monuments under the Committee of Culture of the Kursk region.

Having settled down after that at the Kursk State Regional Museum of Archeology, he has been working in it to this day, having advanced to the main custodian of the funds.

He studied at the correspondence graduate school of the Kursk State Pedagogical University under the guidance of V.V. Enukov .

He defended his thesis at Voronezh State University on the topic: “Indian War in Russian America” (1999). In 2002, the dissertation was published by the KSU publishing house as a separate book.

Participated in the development and installation of a permanent exhibition:

• Lgov Museum of Local Lore (2002);
• Kursk Museum of Archeology (2003-2005).

• Laureate of the N. N. Gordeev Prize (2005) established by the board of the Committee for Culture of the Kursk Region.

He took part in archaeological expeditions excavating Ratskoye, Lipinskoye, Rylskoye , Kursk hillforts.

Since 1995, he has been participating in the research of the Gochevsky Archaeological Complex (the burial mound and the Tsarsky Palace).
